A pilot or a thieft?

A pilot has accused as a thieft. Is that right? For a pilot has already have salary more than enough, is he still need to steal.

But the recently news that reported at KTAR 92.3 Phoenix tell us that a pilot has accused of stealing a passenger's iPod at a security checkpoint at Jacksonville International Airport.

This can be just a miss understanding for me, for the pilot himself admitted to having the iPod in his possession. But he done this because he said it would just be confiscated by airport employees.
