AirTran holds Lucky 7 promo

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today confirmed that seven is, indeed, a lucky number -- especially for the airline's passengers. To celebrate its seven new routes to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nev., AirTran Airways will send one winner and seven of his or her friends to Las Vegas, where they will stay at The Palms Casino Resort.

In addition to nonstop service from Atlanta, the airline is introducing nonstop service between Las Vegas and James M. Cox Dayton International Airport in Dayton, Ohio; Akron Canton Airport in Akron, Ohio; Flint/Bishop International Airport in Flint, Mich.; Greater Rochester International Airport in Rochester, N.Y.; General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wis.; Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal, Ill.; and Quad City International Airport in Moline, Ill.

To enter for a chance to win the Las Vegas trip, passengers must belong to AirTran Airways' award-winning frequent flyer program, A+ Rewards. Sign-up is free on airtran.com, where the contest will be hosted until July 7, 2007. For details on this promotion, visit Airtran.com/lucky7.
