Caribbean Airlines has adopted Maintenance Performance Toolbox, a web-based maintenance solution from Boeing (NYSE: BA), to help improve the maintenance of its fleet of seven Next Generation 737-800s.
Boeing said Caribbean Airlines will use available Toolbox modules including Library, Tasks, Structures, Authoring and Systems.
These modules are expected to help the airline streamline maintenance and repair activities including managing technical publications and training, customising online maintenance manuals, updating and tracking maintenance task cards, and performing core maintenance and engineering tasks.
No financial details have been disclosed.
