DOUALA, Cameroon, May 12 : Heavy rain hampered recovery efforts of a Kenya Airways jet that crashed in Cameroon last weekend.
Investigators failed Friday to find the cockpit voice recorder containing the pilots' last words before flight KQ507 crashed with 126 aboard, Capital News reported. All were killed.
Efforts to identify the passengers and crews continued despite heavy rain.
The plane was en route to Nairobi when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Douala, Cameroon. Kenya planned to observe a national day of mourning on Monday.
