AirTran Airways Announces Annual Shareholders Meeting

ORLANDO, Fla., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI - News), today announced the airline will host its annual shareholders meeting on May 23, 2007, at the Williamsburg Inn in Williamsburg, Va.

Shareholders who owned AirTran Holdings stock as of March 31, 2007, are invited to attend the meeting, which will begin at 11 a.m. EDT. The annual report and proxy materials for the annual meeting are expected to be mailed to stockholders beginning on or about April 13, 2007.
