Bear Lake authorities say a Tennessee man and his son survived a crash landing in their small airplane.
KUTV reports that Bear Lake County, Idaho deputies got a call just before 9 p.m. Wednesday that a plane was down near the county airport.
When crews got there they found the wreckage about 600 feet south of the runway.
The 51-year-old pilot told investigators one of the plane's engines lost power and he was trying to make an emergency landing. He and his son - whose names were not immediately released - were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.
